Registered participants at the Texas Photo Festival will be eligible to enter the 2017 Texas Photo Festival contests: Texas Photo Contest & Fan Favorite Model.The 2017 Texas Photo Festival Contests are for original photos taken at the Texas Photo Festival on Saturday, October 14 ONLY.
Photos submitted with text or art on the photograph can and will be disqualified.
Photographers who want to submit photos to the photography contests must be registered attendees of the 2017 Texas Photo Festival. Registration will be available on the day of the event.
Each photo submission must be clearly marked with photographer, age, town/state, phone number, email and a title of the photo.Also, include the name of the model if known.
Email your submissions to TPF_2017@yahoo.com. Submissions need to include your last name and contest name in the subject line.
Deadline to submit photos for ALL Photo Contest is: October 21, 2017 at midnight.
All decisions of the judges are final.
Photos may be used by the Texas Photo Festival, Smithville Area Chamber of Commerce and The Smithville Times for marketing purposes.
Texas Photo Contest: STEP ONE: Register as a photographer at Texas Photo Festival 2017. Registration will be available on the day of the event at the registration table or online at www.smithvilletx.org. STEP TWO: Submit photos to TPF_2017@yahoo.com, with the photo contest name, photographer’s name included in the subject line.
Submit up to five (5) digital photos – high resolution (200dpi) at approx. 8”x10”.
$20 one-time fee to enter the Texas Photo Contest (register on day of event or at www.smithvilletx.org)
Deadline: October 21, 2017 at midnight.
First place winner will receive a $50 VISA gift card as well as a first place “winner” certificate.Winner will be announced via social media, Chamber website and The Smithville Times newspaper.
Second and third place winners will receive a photography book via regular mail as well a second or third place “winner” certificate and recognition on Chamber social media.
