Hosted by the Lost Pines Art Alliance on the first Saturday of each month, an art show and sale is held at the Gazebo, First & Main streets in Smithville. Each vendor goes through an approval process for the custom made art at the event. Art from portraits, pottery, clothing, jewelry to stained glass and statues are just some of the beautiful art pieces for home and self that can be found at First Saturday. Demonstrations and children’s art projects are also a part of First Saturday.
