Just FIVE shopping days ‘til Christmas! Last week we went through the many shopping opportunities available right here in Smithville. Keep in mind that right after Christmas many local businesses will offer after the holiday sales with big savings. Looking for something for your home – maybe a new large appliance or living room furniture? How about picking up some home improvement materials to work on that long list of honey do’s over the break? If you’re looking for something fun to do with the family outside, head out to Buescher State Park for a walk along their lovely trails or head out to one of Smithville’s NINE public parks. Stroll along Main or 2nd Streets and duck into a shop or have lunch in a local café or pub. There’s so much to do in Smithville! On behalf of the Chamber Board, Chamber membership and the many business owners around town, enjoy your town, embrace your community and have a safe, happy Christmas!
